LINDAL Group’s Altachem site Once Again Recognised as a “Factory of the Future”
We are proud to announce the LINDAL Group, has once again been awarded the prestigious “Factory of the Future” title in Belgium through its Altachem site. This renewed recognition confirms Altachem’s continued leadership in innovation, digitalisation, and sustainable manufacturing.
The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, February 10, celebrating Belgium’s most progressive and forward-thinking industrial companies. The event was attended by Walloon Deputy Minister-President Pierre-Yves Jeholet, while Flemish Minister-President Matthias Diependaele addressed attendees via a special video message, underlining the importance of advanced manufacturing for the region’s economic future. Representing LINDAL Group at the event and collecting the award from Mr Bart Steukens, CEO of AGORIA, which is the sector federation for technological industry in Belgium, were Jean Marie Poppe and Wouter Van haute on behalf of the group Belgian site.
The “Factory of the Future” label recognises Belgian manufacturing companies that are among the most advanced and best prepared to meet tomorrow’s challenges. Companies carrying this title demonstrate excellence in:

- Smart and efficient processes
- Sustainable product innovation
- World-class production systems
- Thoughtful energy and material management

After a thorough expert audit, the title is granted for three years. A renewal requires a new comprehensive evaluation, making this achievement particularly meaningful.
LINDAL Group is among eleven companies this year to have successfully renewed their prestigious title — a strong validation of its long-term strategy and consistent performance.
Since its launch in 2015, the Factory of the Future initiative has grown into a select club of 84 recognised companies over the past 12 years. The initiative plays a key role within both Flanders’ industrial policy and the Digital Wallonia strategy, supporting companies in their transformation toward Industry 4.0.
This renewed recognition reflects LINDAL Group’s continued investments at its Altachem site in:
